Over the past six years, the International Symposium on Precision Engineering (ISPE) has been successfully held at Huisun Experimental Forest (HEF), Nantou County in 2020 and 2022; Han-Hsien International Hotel, Kaohsiung, Taiwan in 2021; Hsinhua Forest Station, Tainan City, Taiwan in 2023; The Hotel Formosa, Caotun, Nantou County, Taiwan in 2024; and Sun Moon Lake Youth Activity Center, Nantou County, Taiwan in 2025. Through continuous growth and international participation, the symposium has developed into an important global platform for academic exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration in precision engineering and related fields.

In response to the rapid advancement of intelligent systems, digital transformation, sensor integration, and emerging enabling technologies, the symposium has been officially renamed the International Symposium on Precision Engineering and Technology (ISPET) beginning in 2026. The addition of ❝Technology❞ reflects the Symposium's expanded scope, emphasizing the integration of precision engineering with intelligent sensing systems, advanced manufacturing technologies, AI-driven applications, IoT-enabled systems, materials innovation, and sustainable engineering solutions. This evolution represents not merely a change of title but a strategic expansion to address the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of modern precision research and technological development. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to ISPET 2026, where researchers, engineers, and industry leaders will gather to discuss cutting-edge research, exchange innovative ideas, and explore opportunities for international collaboration in precision engineering and intelligent technologies.

The 2026 7th International Symposium on Precision Engineering and Technology 2026 (ISPET 2026) will be held at Talmud Hotel, Kaohsiung Love River, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, from October 2 ~ 4, 2026. ISPET 2026 aims to establish a strong integration between precision engineering and intelligent sensing technologies. The symposium serves as a major international platform for knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary collaboration in advanced manufacturing, precision measurement and inspection, semiconductor technologies, MEMS/NEMS, optics, electronics, electrical engineering, materials science, and environmental control systems.

In response to the rapid development of smart systems and digital transformation, ISPET 2026 features dedicated tracks on sensing technologies, sensor systems and architectures, signal conditioning and data acquisition, IoT-enabled sensing, embedded and wireless sensor networks, and AI-driven sensing and intelligent data analytics. These emerging directions highlight the essential role of sensor-integrated systems in next-generation precision manufacturing and smart technologies.
